American Chestnut (Castanea dentata). This beautiful tree is almost extinct but is now being revived using methods of modern genetics. This symbolizes the revival of the old holistic person-oriented approach by applying modern scientific standards and new statistical tools.

Journal for Person-Oriented Research

considers all manuscripts that make us of person-oriented methods, or are relevant to person-oriented theory, on the strict condition that they have not been published elsewhere, and are not under consideration for publication or in press elsewhere. All such contributions will be subjected to review by referees at the discretion of the Editorial Office.

MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION

Manuscripts should be submitted via e-mail to: editor@person-research.org

or to: subject-specific@person-research.org
if the manuscript is intended for the Section on Subject-Specific Studies

The main text should be submitted in Microsoft Word (DOC; DOCX) format.

Submission of an article implies

- that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis or as an electronic preprint),

- that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, and

- that its publication is approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out

REVIEW PROCESS

JPOR strongly strives for a swift review process. Blind review is applied and, hence, information identifying the author(s) should be given only on the first page, or if necessary on a separate page. It is also possible but not necessary for the author(s) to suggest up to three names as possible reviewers.

PROOFS

Proofs will be sent to the corresponding author by PDF and should be returned as soon as possible, preferably by e-mail. Corrections should be restricted to typesetting errors. Any queries should be answered in full.
